The case opens

Long ago, in 1829, a brand-new town began beside a wide blue river — the Swan River.

Today, YOU are the explorer! Collect four pieces of Perth's story as you walk, then tell

how a tiny colony grew into a city. Ready? Let's go.

A giant stone archway! This is all that's left of the barracks where the colony's soldiers

once lived.

Walk through it the way the soldiers did, and you've found your first story piece:

the GUARDS who kept the young town safe.
